The All-Share Index extended gains of 165.53 points from yesterday’s session to close at 8,586.70 points. BRITISH AMERICAN TOBACCO (BAT.zw) shot up by $298.8100 to finish at $1,793.0600, NATIONAL FOODS LIMITED (NTFD.zw) rallied $125.0000 to settle at $753.0000 while AFRICAN DISTILLERS (AFDS.zw) surged $14.5345 to end at $90.0000. MASIMBA HOLDINGS LIMITED (MSHL.zw) rose by $7.4704 to close at $53.1545 along with AFRICAN SUN (ASUN.zw) which advanced by $1.4618 to finish at $9.6224.
Gains were offset by losses in MEIKLES LIMITED (MEIK.zw) which lost $1.8249 to close at $114.1801, PROPLASTICS (PROL.zw) which fell by $1.0644 to settle at $30.0000 whilst CASSAVA SMARTECH (CSZL.zw) declined by $0.8320 to end at $30.1591. DELTA CORPORATION (DLTA.zw) dropped by $0.3742 to finish at $109.4522 and BINDURA NICKEL CORPORATION (BIND.zw) was down $0.2904 to settle at $5.7023
